Municipal Notification of Non-Compliance Form

Pursuant to R.I. Gen. Laws § 21-28.11-17.1, municipalities have forty-five (45) days to review adult-use cannabis retail license applications forwarded by the Cannabis Control Commission and notify the Commission if a proposed establishment does not comply with local ordinances.

This form should be used by municipalities to formally notify the Commission of non-compliance within the statutory review period. If no notification is received by the deadline, the application will be considered compliant with local ordinances.
